What this machine is for
The Kemppi KempArc SYN 400 is a digital MIG/MAG power source up to 400 A, prepared for robot cells and automated welding stations. You control it from the robot controller through an analogue or a digital interface, with a Fieldbus option. The power source sends the Arc On and Gas On statuses, so the controller reacts to arc loss without delay. Job Recall switches memory channels during work, for example between the root run and the cap run.
The Kemppi Wise synergic programs cover the WiseFusion and WisePenetration processes. WiseFusion holds a short arc with high energy density at high welding speeds. WisePenetration keeps the current steady when the free wire stick out changes, so penetration does not drop when the part varies. The wire diameter range is 0.8 to 1.6 mm. This is a power source for an integrator who builds or upgrades a welding cell, not for manual work.

What to watch out for
Supply is 3x400 V with a tolerance of 15% down and 20% up. The duty cycle from the data sheet is 400 A at 80%. The product record lists gas cooling, so confirm the configuration before you buy, because the manufacturer's description mentions the CoolArc liquid module. To run the cell you also need a communication card for your controller, a torch and cables, the record does not list them. The record gives no weight and no dimensions, so arrange transport before collection. Condition B means traces of use and full working order.
How we sell used machines
This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package, further years can be added. We ship across the European Union, collection in person by appointment.
