What this machine is for
Kemppi X8 is a digital MIG/MAG power source with adjustment from 15 to 400 A. At a 60 percent duty cycle it gives 400 A, at a 100 percent duty cycle 320 A. You set the parameters from the wireless Control Pad panel, without walking up to the power source.
The documentation for the series lists the WiseFusion, WiseRoot plus and WisePenetration plus processes as well as support for digital work instructions and integration with the WeldEye system. These are licensed functions: which ones are active in this unit we check together with you on the licence list in the panel before the purchase, and you confirm the fit with your WPS by a test on your own joint. The X8 Wire Feeder has an alternating two roll drive. This is equipment for a plant that keeps watch over welding parameters.
What to watch out for
Cooling is run by an integrated liquid module, count in a check of the fluid and the tightness. The Control Pad works wirelessly, check whether it is in the set together with the wire feeder and the cable pack. The documentation gives a fit with Kemppi Flexlite GX torches. Condition B means traces of use and full working order. The condition letter says nothing about load capacity or the duty cycle.
How we sell used machines
This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package, further years can be added. We ship across the European Union, collection in person by appointment.
