What this machine is for
Lorch V30 AC/DC is an inverter TIG power source for alternating and direct current, with an MMA mode. In TIG you set from 3 to 300 A, in MMA from 10 to 250 A. With alternating current you weld aluminium and its alloys, with direct current stainless steel and special steels. The machine went to chemical apparatus, food industry installations and repairs of aluminium parts.
The control is based on the SmartBase database, which matches the arc characteristic to the method and the material. TipTronic remembers 100 jobs with the full cycle, from the gas flow time to the current downslope, and you switch the programs with buttons in the handle of the torch. You set the alternating current frequency up to 200 Hz, and on top of that comes the AC balance adjustment. The housing with the MACCS system leads the air away from the control boards, and according to the documentation it takes a fall from 60 cm.
What to watch out for
Supply 3 x 400 V, 16 A time delay fuse. The duty cycle is 300 A at 50% and 200 A at 100%. The product card gave liquid cooling, and the documentation describes the cooler as a part of the set, so with the next unit confirm whether it is included. A liquid cooled torch needs a cooler at the station. Condition A means very good visual condition and full working order checked in our service workshop.
