Migatronic TIG 4CE, a new generation of TIG torches

June 8, 2026

Migatronic TIG 4CE is a new series of manual TIG welding torches. The manufacturer built it around ergonomics, precise guidance, durability and easier control of the process.

From June 2026 the torches reach the market and the new Migatronic TIG power sources step by step. Spawlab.pl is an authorised Migatronic distributor in Poland and helps you prepare for this change.

What Migatronic TIG 4CE is

TIG 4CE is the new generation of manual TIG torches from Migatronic. The series covers gas cooled and water cooled torches, so you pick the version for light work and for long weld runs at higher current.

The name refers to the word force, meaning strength and control. In practice it is about steady torch guidance, a comfortable grip and wide configuration options.

  • Control: steady arc guidance and control of the welding machine from the torch.
  • Durability: a design prepared for the daily conditions of a workshop and of production.
  • Ergonomics: a torch for long shifts, constrained positions and precise TIG welding.
  • Configuration: different cable lengths, cooling versions, torch bodies and control modules.

Why torch ergonomics matters in TIG

In TIG you guide the torch close to the material and control the electrode angle, the distance from the part, the travel speed and the behaviour of the weld pool. Even a small change of hand position changes the look of the weld.

A well chosen torch reduces hand fatigue, makes work in constrained positions easier and improves repeatability. That is not an extra, it is a real effect on quality.

Gas cooling or water cooling

The type of cooling is one of the more important selection criteria. A gas cooled torch is simpler and lighter, it suits lower loads and shorter welds. You take a water cooled torch for intensive welding, higher currents and longer work under load.

The STD, SNK, FLEX and STUBBY versions

You match the series to the parameters of your welding machine and to the real access to the weld.

  • STD: a standard body for general TIG work in the workshop, in production and in service.
  • SNK: more freedom in setting the torch, useful with frequent changes of position and with spatial parts.
  • FLEX: a flexible torch neck that you adapt to the working position and to harder access.
  • STUBBY: a shorter configuration for tight spots, corners and pipes.

Exchangeable control modules

TIG 4CE torches can have exchangeable control modules, so you match the way they are operated to the operator and to the task. A small current correction changes the width of the pool, the amount of heat in the material, the penetration and the look of the weld face. Control from the torch lets you react without walking up to the panel.

More than 50 models and cables of 4, 8, 12 and 16 m

The series covers more than 50 versions: from small gas cooled torches for precise work to strong water cooled torches for higher loads.

  • 4 m: short work stations, the power source close to the operator, classic workshop jobs.
  • 8 m: a general reach without surplus cable at the station.
  • 12 m: larger structures and production stations, work far from the power source.
  • 16 m: the maximum reach in selected configurations, when the welding machine stays in one place.

TIG 4CE and TIG Ergo

TIG 4CE replaces complete TIG Ergo torches step by step. If you have a Migatronic power source, plan your purchases and service in advance.

  • The new series starts to reach the market and the new Migatronic TIG power sources.
  • Orders for complete TIG Ergo torches are accepted until 30 September 2026.
  • Spare parts and consumables for TIG Ergo stay available.

How to choose a TIG 4CE torch

The choice does not end with the question about cable length. Check the welding power source, the working current, the material, the type of cooling, the access to the weld, the ergonomics and the way of control. A torch that is too weak will overheat, a cable that is too long gets in the way at the station, and one that is too short limits the operator.

As an authorised Migatronic distributor we help you choose the model, the cooling version, the cable length, the body type, the control module and the consumables that fit your power source. Write to us and we will answer with a proposed configuration.

Frequently asked questions

When does Migatronic introduce the TIG 4CE torches

The series is introduced step by step from June 2026, together with the new Migatronic TIG power sources.

Does TIG 4CE replace TIG Ergo

Yes. Orders for complete TIG Ergo torches are accepted until 30 September 2026, and spare parts and consumables stay in the range.

Do parts from TIG Ergo fit TIG 4CE

In most versions TIG 4CE uses selected consumables compatible with TIG Ergo. For a specific model confirm compatibility before you buy.

How does a gas cooled torch differ from a water cooled one

The gas cooled one is simpler and lighter, it suits lighter work and lower loads. The water cooled one is meant for intensive welding, higher currents and longer work under load.

What do the STD, SNK, FLEX and STUBBY versions mean

STD is the standard body, SNK gives more freedom in setting the torch, FLEX has a flexible neck, and STUBBY is the shorter version for places with hard access.

Where to buy a Migatronic TIG 4CE torch

You choose and order the torches at Spawlab.pl. We help you match the model to the welding power source, the type of work and the technical requirements.

Summary

Migatronic TIG 4CE combines ergonomics, durability, wide configuration and control from the torch. The series covers more than 50 versions, gas cooled and water cooled torches, four cable lengths and the STD, SNK, FLEX and STUBBY bodies. If you work on Migatronic power sources, plan the move from TIG Ergo in advance.
