We buy used welding machines, plasma cutters, resistance welders, wire feeders and supporting equipment. We buy single machines and whole fleets after a plant closes. We give a quotation within 24 working hours of receiving photographs and a description, and if we agree terms, we arrange collection with our own transport or by courier at our cost.
What we buy
MIG/MAG machines, TIG welders in DC and AC/DC, MMA inverters and machines, plasma cutters, spot and projection welders, wire feeders, coolers, positioners, turning rolls, welding tractors and compressors. We are interested in machines in working order, but also in faulty ones, because we have our own service centre and many of them go back to work after a repair. We also buy incomplete equipment if the subassemblies are in good condition.
How the valuation works
Step 1: send us the details
We need photographs of the machine from every side, a photograph of the rating plate, information on what works and what does not, and on what is included: torch, earth lead, regulator, trolley. Take the photographs without tidying up, we would rather see the real condition than a flattering shot.
Step 2: a quote within 24 hours
We give one figure and we do not soften it after collection. If the condition of the machine differs from the description, we say so before transport, not after. For larger batches we come and look at the equipment on site.
Step 3: collection and payment
We collect the equipment by pallet transport or in our own vehicle, depending on the size. We pay by bank transfer after collection and after checking that the equipment matches the photographs, usually the same or the next working day. We settle with companies on a VAT invoice and with private individuals on a sale and purchase agreement.
What affects the price
Technical condition and completeness matter most. A machine with a torch, cables and a regulator is worth clearly more than a bare unit. The brand counts too, and whether parts for it are still available, because a machine with no parts is worth its value as usable scrap. Damage to the casing lowers the price less than damage to the power electronics. On water-cooled equipment we check for leaks, because a leak onto a board can decide the valuation. We do not ask about the age of the machine or its hours, because in practice nobody counts them. What counts is what we see once the casing is open and what the bench test shows.
Part exchange against a new machine
If you are buying another unit from us, we can take your old machine in part exchange and reduce the invoice. This applies to used machines from our own range and to new Spartus, Magnum and Ideal equipment, and to equipment from our sister site nowespawarki.pl.
