Why this brand
Böhler comes from special steel metallurgy rather than from trading in welding consumables, and it shows in the consistency of the chemical composition and in the number of approvals: TÜV, DNV, ABS, Lloyd, DB. The diamondspark line is a range of seamless flux-cored wires with a diffusible hydrogen content below 5 millilitres per 100 grams of weld metal, which do not pick up moisture once the packaging is opened. The EMK and EML families cover mild steels, alform covers high-strength steels up to 1100 MPa, Thermanit and NiBAS cover creep-resistant steels and nickel alloys, and the WEARtig, WEARmig and WEARcore lines, formerly UTP, cover hardfacing and reclamation.

We carry the full Böhler Welding catalogue of wires and rods, filtered by process, material group, EN ISO and AWS classification, diameter and shielding gas. For every item we give the classification, the approvals and a link to the manufacturer data sheet, and for hardfacing consumables also the deposit hardness and the former UTP designation, because some of the names changed in 2025. We match the packaging to the rate of use, from S200 and S300 spools through to drums for mechanised stations, and we run repeat orders for companies.
Advice and machines
