Before a machine reaches the shop, it spends 2 to 5 days in our service centre in Krotoszyn. We check it to the current standards for welding equipment, under load rather than on the bench. Below is exactly what we do with every unit, and how we award condition A, B or C.
Seven stages of the check

| 1. Intake | We record how complete the set is and inspect the casing, the panel, the sockets and the cables. | Cracks, signs of water damage, modifications, missing guards. |
| 2. Cleaning and the inside | We open the machine, clean it with compressed air and check the boards and the fans. | Metal dust on the electronics, swollen capacitors, loose connectors. |
| 3. Electrical safety | Measurements to the current standard for welding power sources: insulation resistance, continuity of the protective conductor, open circuit voltage. | A result outside the standard ends the check, and the machine goes for repair or for parts. |
| 4. Load test | We weld with the machine for 30 minutes at 60 percent duty cycle for its rated current. | Arc stability, the current and voltage readings, operation of the thermal cut-out. |
| 5. Feeder, cooler, torch | Rollers, liners, roller pressure, the feed motor, coolant flow, tightness, the state of the torch and the cables. | Wire slip, leaks, worn consumables which we replace. |
| 6. Functions and panel | We go through every program and mode: synergic control, pulse, double pulse, job memory, robot connectors where fitted. | Every mode has to work as the manufacturer describes. |

What condition A, B and C mean
Condition A
A machine that has been through the full check with nothing to note at any stage. The signs of use are cosmetic only: scratches on the casing, worn lettering on the panel. All consumables new. You buy a machine like this when it is going to run two shifts in production.
Condition B
A sound machine, with nothing to note on the load test, but with visible signs of work: dents in the casing, a repaired socket, a replaced fan or board. We describe every such item in the product listing. A good choice for a workshop and for site work, usually 15 to 25 percent cheaper than condition A.
Condition C
The machine works, but it has a limitation that we state plainly: for example one of the modes does not work, the cooler is missing, or the display is damaged while the controls are sound. The price is lower accordingly. You buy it knowingly, for a particular job or as a source of parts.
What we do not do
We do not sell machines we cannot repair ourselves. We do not hide modifications or repairs made outside the manufacturer service network. We do not retouch photographs. If a unit fails the safety measurements, it does not reach the shop.
