voestalpine Böhler Welding is an Austrian brand of filler materials that grew out of special steel metallurgy. The catalogue covers more than a thousand items for welding, hardfacing and braze welding.
In our offer you will find lines for unalloyed steels from the EMK and EML families, high strength alform grades, stainless and creep resistant Thermanit products and NiBAS nickel alloys. Seamless diamondspark flux cored wires keep diffusible hydrogen low and do not take up moisture after the pack is opened, and the UTP line covers hardfacing.
Start the choice from the steel grade and the acceptance standard, not from the diameter. Check the EN ISO and AWS classification in the product page and the approvals from TÜV, DNV or ABS, because on welded structures they decide the acceptance. Watch the shielding gas given for the wire, because changing the mixture changes the weld metal.
