ESAB is a Swedish brand founded in 1904 by Oscar Kjellberg, the inventor of the coated electrode. Today it covers power sources for MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA, plasma cutting equipment and filler materials.
Among used units you will mostly find Aristo with a separate Feed wire feeder, Warrior for site work, Origo and Caddy for installation jobs, and multi process Rebel machines. Many of them come from production plants, so they have continuous work behind them.
With a used ESAB check that the panel matches the power source, because in the Aristo series the pairs get mixed after repairs. Inspect the interconnection cable, the feeder socket and the rolls, and on water cooled machines the pump and the tightness of the circuit.
