What 3DPRINT AM Mold 36 solid MIG/MAG wire is used for

3DPRINT AM Mold 36 is a solid MIG/MAG welding wire. It suits rebuilding and hardfacing, and it is used on repairs of farm tools, crusher parts, conveyors, ploughshares and mining machine components.

The wire suits hand work with a semiautomatic torch and mechanised stations, and it also serves in WAAM additive manufacturing.

Lay the overlay in overlapping beads and watch the temperature of the part, an overheated piece will distort and crack at the layer boundary. Set the gas flow so the pool is covered over the whole length of the bead, and shield the station when you work in wind. Check the contact tip, a worn bore upsets the wire feed and causes burnback. Joint preparation, that is the bevel angle and the root gap, matters as much as the parameters themselves.
