Description

About this machine

EWM Thyristor MIG 500 with the Thyristor 4x4 feeder is a heavy industrial MIG/MAG set built on a transformer with a thyristor controlled rectifier. It is made for welding thick structural parts at high current with stable settings over long seams.

Main data:

  • welding current 500 A at 45 % duty cycle, 350 A at 100 %
  • mains supply 3 x 400 V, 50/60 Hz
  • liquid cooling built in, tank 7 l
  • external four roll feeder with a EURO connector, wire range 0.6 to 2.4 mm
  • stepless voltage and wire speed control 1 to 20 m/min, creep start, burn back setting and two levels of arc dynamics

The set is used and carries normal marks of industrial service. Before sale it was checked in our own service workshop in Krotoszyn against current standards.

The price covers the first year of our basic service package. Used machines are sold without a commercial warranty. You get a VAT invoice and we ship on a pallet to any EU country. Companies in the EU with an active EU VAT number are invoiced at 0 % VAT.
