WEARmig Tool NiCrCo is a nickel alloy solid wire for overlays on forging tools that work at very high temperatures.
It is fed continuously from the feeder and welded under shielding gas, by hand and on mechanised stations. The wire goes into maintenance work, rebuilding dimensions and strengthening surfaces exposed to wear, including shafts, rollers, screws and blades.

Check how many layers you need to reach the target hardness, the first layer always mixes with the base material. Watch the wire stick-out from the contact tip, too long a one lowers the arc voltage and worsens the fusion. Set the gas flow so the pool is covered over the whole length of the bead, and shield the station when you work in wind. Previously sold as UTP A 5519 Co.
