A used welder pays off when you know exactly what you are buying. That is why we go by technical condition, not by age. Condition A is a machine with light signs of use, complete, with no work done on it beyond scheduled servicing. Condition B means visible signs of work, sound electronics, sometimes a missing accessory. Condition C is a working tool with scratches and dents, sometimes after a repair of a subassembly, described in the product listing.
When choosing a machine, start with material thickness and power supply. For sheet from 1 to 6 mm in a workshop, a 200 to 250 A unit on 230 V is enough. For steel structures from 8 to 20 mm you need 300 to 400 A on 400 V, preferably water-cooled. Pay attention to the duty cycle: 250 A at 60 percent is a completely different machine from 250 A at 25 percent. We quote values at 40 degrees Celsius, in line with the standard.
Check as well whether the torch, earth lead, regulator and hose are included, because that can add several hundred zloty to the bill. On inverters the condition of the fan and the cleanliness of the heat sinks matter. On machines with a wire feeder it is the state of the rollers, the liner and the Euro connector. The price of every used machine includes the first year of the basic service package: we repair on site, without sending you to an outside service centre. You buy further years separately, and then repairs come out cheaper, a periodic inspection is added along with an inspection report.
