UTP A 3444 is a copper alloy solid wire of the Cu 6328 type, CuAl9Ni5Fe3Mn2. It is used on casting repairs, industrial fittings and cladding of working surfaces.
It is fed continuously from the feeder and welded under shielding gas, and it also suits cladding runs on steel. The deposit is copper based, and the wire works on water systems, machine parts, plain bearings and hardfacing of bronze surfaces.

Do not overheat the pool and work fast, tin bronzes lose alloying elements by evaporation. Check the contact tip, a worn bore upsets the wire feed and causes burnback. Match the drive rolls to the wire diameter and check the liner, wire slip shows up at once in an unstable arc. Thinner diameters suit root runs and thin sheet, thicker ones the fill passes.
