UTP ROBOTIC 602 is a metal-cored wire for cladding runs and for rebuilding worn surfaces. It is used on farm tools, crusher parts, conveyors, ploughshares and mining machinery.
The metal core combines the deposition rate of a cored wire with an almost slag-free bead, as you get from a solid wire. Its seamless construction limits moisture pick-up in the core, it suits protective layers built up on steel, and it leaves only silicate islands to clean between passes.
- Classification EN ISO: T Fe8
- Diameters: 1.2 mm
Check how many layers you need to reach the target hardness, the first layer always mixes with the base material. Keep the gas cover complete, without a full slag layer the pool is more sensitive to draughts. Check the feed roll pressure, a metal-cored wire is easier to crush than a solid one.
