What diamondspark CM 2 MC metal-cored wire is used for

diamondspark CM 2 MC is a seamless, creep resistant metal-cored wire alloyed with 2.25 percent chromium and 1 percent molybdenum.

Base materials are 10CrMo9-10, 16CrMo9-3, 11CrMo9-10, 26CrMo7, G17CrMo9-10, G19CrMo9-10 and ASTM A 182. The seamless sheath protects the core against moisture even after long storage, and the deposit resists creep at elevated temperature.

Do not interrupt welding and do not let the joint drop below the interpass temperature before the fill is finished. Check the feed roll pressure, a metal-cored wire is easier to crush than a solid one. Set the parameters for spray arc, in the short arc range a metal-cored wire loses its deposition advantage.
