What diamondspark DMO BC flux-cored wire is used for

diamondspark DMO BC is a seamless, creep resistant flux-cored wire of the basic type, alloyed with about 0.5 % Mo.

Among the parent materials it covers S235JR, S355JR, P195TR1, P265TR1, L245NB, L415NB and L450QB. The seamless make keeps the hydrogen level in the weld low, the wire does well on pipe welding, fill passes included, and the deposit stands up to creep at elevated temperature.

Plan the preheating and the post weld heat treatment to the WPS for the grade in hand, CrMo steels harden in the heat affected zone. Keep the wire in a dry store and use an opened pack promptly, a basic core is sensitive to moisture.
