What diamondspark CM 2 RC flux-cored wire is used for

diamondspark CM 2 RC is a seamless, creep resistant flux-cored wire of the rutile type, alloyed with about 2.25 % Cr and 1 % Mo.

It joins grades such as 1.7380, 10CrMo9-10, 1.7276, 1.7281, 16CrMo9-3, 1.7383 and 11CrMo9-10 together with their equivalents. The seamless sheath keeps moisture away from the core even after longer storage, the copper coated surface improves current transfer in the tip, and the deposit stands up to creep at elevated temperature.

Watch the hydrogen level, dry consumables and a preheated groove are the basic protection against cold cracking. Store the wire dry and do not leave an open spool in the feeder overnight, the core takes up moisture.
