diamondspark DCMS BC is a seamless, creep resistant flux-cored wire of the basic type, alloyed with about 1 % Cr and 0.5 % Mo.
It joins grades such as 1.7335, 13CrMo4-5, 1.7262, 15CrMo5, 1.7728, 16CrMoV4 and 1.7218 together with their equivalents. The seamless sheath keeps moisture away from the core even after longer storage, and the deposit stands up to creep at elevated temperature.

Plan the preheating and the post weld heat treatment to the WPS for the grade in hand, CrMo steels harden in the heat affected zone. Take care of degassing and a clean groove, basic slag will not forgive oily edges. Keep the wire in a dry store and use an opened pack promptly, a basic core is sensitive to moisture.
