diamondspark Ni1 MC is a seamless, high strength metal-cored wire alloyed with 1 percent nickel, with impact toughness down to minus 60 degrees C. It is used on steel structures, tanks, machine frames and workshop work on plain carbon steel.
The wire joins grades such as S355JR, S355J0, S355J2, S450J0, S355N, S460N and S355NL, along with related materials. The seamless construction limits moisture pick-up in the core, the wire welds in all positions including vertical up and overhead, and the impact toughness is confirmed down to minus 60 degrees C.
