diamondspark Ni3 MC is a seamless, high strength metal-cored wire alloyed with 3 percent nickel, with impact toughness down to minus 60 degrees C. It is used in steel construction, on tanks, pipework and series production.
The wire joins grades such as S355JR, S355J0, S355J2, S450J0, S355N, S460N and S355NL, along with related materials. The seamless sheath protects the core against moisture even after long storage, and the impact toughness is confirmed down to minus 60 degrees C.

On heavier sections and in a cold workshop plan the preheating, so that the risk of cold cracking stays down. Check the feed roll pressure, a metal-cored wire is easier to crush than a solid one. Set the parameters for spray arc, in the short arc range a metal-cored wire loses its deposition advantage. Match the diameter to the material thickness and the welding position, thinner wires are easier to control out of position.
