FOXcore 13/4-MC is a high alloyed, soft martensitic stainless metal-cored wire of the EC 410 NiMo type. It works on pressure vessels, pipework and austenitic steel structures where corrosion resistance matters.
Base materials are 1.4313, 1.4317, 1.4407, 1.4414 and UNS S41500. The wire gives a high deposition rate on long welds and heavier walls, and its deposit has a martensitic structure with a lowered carbon content.
- Classification EN ISO: 17633-A T 13 4 M M12 2
- AWS classification: A5.22 / SFA-5.22 EC410NiMo (mod.)
- Shielding gas: M12
- Diameters: 1.2 / 1.5 / 1.6 / 2.5 mm
- Approvals: TÜV (12880), LR (M21, supplementary list), CE
Keep the heat input down and do not hold the joint hot longer than you need to, the structure expands and pulls out of shape. Check the feed roll pressure, a metal-cored wire is easier to crush than a solid one. Set the parameters for spray arc, in the short arc range a metal-cored wire loses its deposition advantage.
