FOXcore 13/4-MC F is a high alloyed, soft martensitic stainless metal-cored wire of the E410NiMo type, made for foundry applications. It is used on process installations, heat exchangers, sanitary structures and parts exposed to corrosion.
The wire suits grades such as 1.4313, 1.4317, 1.4407, 1.4414 and UNS S41500. Its high deposition rate shortens the time needed to fill heavier grooves, and the deposit has a martensitic structure with a lowered carbon content.
- Classification EN ISO: 17633-A T 13 4 M M12 2
- AWS classification: A5.22 / SFA-5.22 EC410NiMo (mod.)
- Shielding gas: M12
- Diameters: 1.2 / 1.5 / 1.6 mm
- Approvals: CE
Keep the interpass temperature low and the beads narrow, overheating promotes carbide precipitation and distortion. Keep the gas cover complete, without a full slag layer the pool is more sensitive to draughts. Check the feed roll pressure, a metal-cored wire is easier to crush than a solid one. Match the diameter to the material thickness and the welding position, thinner wires are easier to control out of position.
