What FOXcore 2307-T0 flux-cored wire is used for

FOXcore 2307-T0 is a high-alloyed flux-cored wire of the E 2307 type for lean duplex stainless steel, meant for the flat and horizontal positions and run under a mixed shielding gas.

It is used on grades such as 1.4162, 1.4362, 1.4482 and UNS S32101, including boilers and pressure vessels under technical inspection. The deposit belongs to the lean duplex group, with a reduced nickel content.

  • Classification EN ISO: 17633-A T 23 7 N L R M21 (C1) 3
  • AWS classification: A5.22 / SFA-5.22 E2307T0-4(1)
  • Shielding gas: M21, C1
  • Diameters: 0.5 / 1.2 / 2.0 mm
  • Approvals: TÜV (11411), ABS (C1), CE

Protect the root and keep the gas coverage complete, oxidised zones in duplex are where pitting corrosion starts. Store the wire dry and do not leave an open spool in the feeder overnight, the core takes up moisture.
