FOXcore 2594-T1 is a high-alloyed flux-cored wire of the E 2594 type for superduplex stainless steel, suitable for all welding positions and run under a mixed shielding gas.
Among the parent materials it covers 1.4410, 1.4467, 1.4468, 1.4501, 1.4507, 1.4515 and 1.4517, and the deposit matches the superduplex grades. Typical work is chemical plants, desalination units, tanks and offshore structures.

Protect the root and keep the gas coverage complete, oxidised zones in duplex are where pitting corrosion starts. Hold the torch tilted slightly backwards so the slag flows behind the pool. Remove the slag before every following bead, slag left between layers is the most common source of inclusions. Match the diameter to the thickness and the position, thinner wires are easier to control in constrained positions.
