FOXcore 2594-T1 HD is a high-alloyed flux-cored wire of the E 2594 type for superduplex stainless steel, suitable for all welding positions, run under a mixed shielding gas and rated down to -50 °C.
Among the parent materials it covers 1.4410, 1.4467, 1.4468, 1.4501, 1.4507, 1.4515, 1.4517, UNS S32750 and 2507, and the deposit matches the superduplex grades. The wire is used in the chemical, pulp and paper and marine industries.

Watch the heat input and the interpass temperature, overheating duplex upsets the ferrite to austenite balance in the weld. Store the wire dry and do not leave an open spool in the feeder overnight, the core takes up moisture. Do not shorten the stick-out too far, a flux-cored wire needs resistive preheating so the core melts in time. Thinner diameters suit root runs and thin sheet, thicker ones the fill passes.
