FOXcore 307-T0 is a high-alloyed flux-cored wire of the E 307L type for austenitic stainless steel in special applications, with high ductility and elongation, meant for the flat and horizontal positions under a mixed shielding gas.
It works on pressure vessels, piping and austenitic structures where corrosion resistance counts, and it also serves for cladding, that is for laying protective layers on carbon steel. The deposition rate shortens the filling of wider grooves and the deposit has a corrosion resistant austenitic structure.
- Classification EN ISO: 17633-A T 18 8 Mn R M21 (C1) 3
- AWS classification: A5.22 / SFA-5.22 E307T0-G
- Shielding gas: M21, C1
- Diameters: 1.2 / 1.6 / 2.0 mm
- Approvals: TÜV (11101), CE
Keep the interpass temperature low and the beads narrow, overheating austenitic steel promotes carbide precipitation and distortion. Remove the slag before every following bead, slag left between layers is the most common source of inclusions.
