What FOXcore 308L-T0 flux-cored wire is used for

FOXcore 308L-T0 is a high-alloyed flux-cored wire of the E 308L type for austenitic stainless steel, meant for the flat and horizontal positions and run under a mixed shielding gas.

Among the parent materials it covers 1.4301, X5CrNi18-10, 1.4306, X2CrNi19-11, 1.4307, X2CrNi18-9 and 1.4311. The deposition rate is high, which shows on long welds and thicker walls, and typical work covers tanks, process plant, food and chemical equipment and structures in contact with water and steam.

Use brushes and discs kept only for stainless steel, carbon steel particles cause rust staining on the face. Store the wire dry and do not leave an open spool in the feeder overnight, the core takes up moisture.
