FOXcore 309L Nb H-T0 is a high-alloyed flux-cored wire of the E 309L Nb type for special applications, heat resistant, with a bismuth free weld deposit and a controlled ferrite content.
The rutile core gives a fast freezing pool, a well shaped face and slag that lifts easily. The wire also serves for cladding carbon steel surfaces, the deposition rate shows on long welds and thicker walls, and the deposit stands up to elevated temperature.
- Classification EN ISO: 17633-A T 23 12 Nb R M21 3

Keep the heat input down and do not hold the joint hot longer than needed, austenite expands strongly and pulls the structure out of shape. Do not shorten the stick-out too far, a flux-cored wire needs resistive preheating so the core melts in time.
