FOXcore 309L-T0 is a high-alloyed austenitic stainless flux-cored wire of the E 309L type for dissimilar joints between Cr and CrNi(Mo) steels and unalloyed or low-alloy steels, and for cladding unalloyed or low-alloy parent metals, preferably in the flat or horizontal position.
The slag covers the bead and cools slowly, so the face stays even and the transitions to the parent metal are smooth. The wire suits cladding, that is laying protective layers on steel, the deposition rate shortens the filling of wider grooves, and it works on pressure vessels, piping and austenitic structures.

Use brushes and discs kept only for stainless steel, carbon steel particles cause rust staining on the face. Do not shorten the stick-out too far, a flux-cored wire needs resistive preheating so the core melts in time.
