FOXcore 316L-T0 DG is a high-alloyed flux-cored wire of the E 316L type for austenitic stainless steel, meant for the flat and horizontal positions and run either under a mixed gas or under 100 % CO2.
It joins grades such as 1.4401, 1.4404, 1.4409, 1.4429, 1.4432, 1.4435 and 1.4436 together with their equivalents. The composition protects the joint against intergranular corrosion, the deposit is austenitic, and the wire works on pressure vessels, piping and austenitic structures.

- AWS classification: A5.22 / SFA-5.22 E316LT0-4/(1)
- Shielding gas: M21, C1
- Diameters: 1.2 / 1.6 / 2.0 / 4.5 / 5.5 mm
- Approvals: TÜV (19660), CWB, DNV, ABS, CE
Keep the interpass temperature low and the beads narrow, overheating austenitic steel promotes carbide precipitation and distortion. Store the wire dry and do not leave an open spool in the feeder overnight, the core takes up moisture.
