FOXcore 316L-T1 Cryo is a high-alloyed flux-cored wire of the E 316L type for austenitic stainless steel in cryogenic service, suitable for all welding positions, run under a mixed shielding gas and rated down to -196 °C.
Among the parent materials it covers 1.4401, 1.4404, 1.4409, 1.4429, 1.4432, 1.4435 and 1.4436. The deposit keeps its toughness in the cryogenic range, so the wire goes on tanks and plant for liquefied gases, and it has a corrosion resistant austenitic structure.
