FOXcore 347-T0 is a high-alloyed flux-cored wire of the E 347 type for stabilized austenitic stainless steel, meant for the flat and horizontal positions and run under a mixed shielding gas.
Among the parent materials it covers 1.4301, X5CrNi18-10, 1.4306, X2CrNi19-11, 1.4311, 1.4312 and 1.4541. The high deposition rate shortens the filling of wider grooves, and the wire is used in tank building, process piping and equipment for the chemical and food industries.
- Classification EN ISO: 17633-A T 19 9 Nb R M21 (C1) 3

Keep the interpass temperature low and the beads narrow, overheating austenitic steel promotes carbide precipitation and distortion. Store the wire dry and do not leave an open spool in the feeder overnight, the core takes up moisture. Do not shorten the stick-out too far, a flux-cored wire needs resistive preheating so the core melts in time.
