FOXcore C 9 MV RC is a high-alloyed, creep resistant flux-cored wire of the rutile type for the ASTM steels T91 and P91.
It is used on grades such as 1.4903 and ASTM A335, on boilers and pressure vessels under technical inspection. The deposit stands up to creep at elevated temperature, and the rutile core makes constrained positions easier with a calm, soft arc.

Watch the hydrogen level, dry consumables and a preheated groove are the basic protection against cold cracking. Store the wire dry and do not leave an open spool in the feeder overnight, the core takes up moisture. Do not shorten the stick-out too far, a flux-cored wire needs resistive preheating so the core melts in time.
