UTP ROBOTIC 600 is a metal-cored wire for hardfacing surfaces exposed to abrasion. It is used in maintenance work, where worn dimensions are restored and surfaces reinforced.
The wire leaves only silicate islands instead of a full slag layer, which shortens the cleaning time between passes. Its seamless construction limits moisture pick-up in the core and keeps the hydrogen level in the weld low.

Check how many layers you need to reach the target hardness, the first layer always mixes with the base material. Set the parameters for spray arc, in the short arc range a metal-cored wire loses its deposition advantage. Keep the gas cover complete, without a full slag layer the pool is more sensitive to draughts. Match the diameter to the material thickness and the welding position, thinner wires are easier to control out of position.
