WEARcore XD NiW46 is a gas shielded metal-cored wire with outstanding resistance to abrasive wear, even where the wear takes place in a corrosive environment.
The metal core combines the deposition rate of a cored wire with an almost slag-free bead, as you get from a solid wire, and it is meant for hardfacing surfaces exposed to abrasion on crusher parts, conveyors and mining machinery. Previously sold as SK 900Ni RTC-G.

Remove the fatigued and hardened surface layer before you build up, a deposit laid on worn material will flake off. Keep the gas cover complete, without a full slag layer the pool is more sensitive to draughts. Check the feed roll pressure, a metal-cored wire is easier to crush than a solid one.
