3Dprint AM 316L Cryo2 is a solid MIG/MAG wire for welding stainless and acid-resistant steels. Typical work covers tanks, process plant, food and chemical equipment and structures in contact with water and steam.
It suits hand work with a semiautomatic torch and mechanised stations, fed continuously under shielding gas, and it also serves in WAAM additive manufacturing. The wire is used in tank building, process piping and chemical or food equipment.

Use brushes and discs kept only for stainless steel, carbon steel particles cause rust staining on the face. Match the drive rolls to the wire diameter and check the liner, wire slip shows up at once in an unstable arc. Watch the wire stick-out from the contact tip, too long a one lowers the arc voltage and worsens the fusion.
