3Dprint AM 410 NiMo mod is a solid MIG/MAG wire for welding stainless and acid-resistant steels. It works on pressure vessels, process piping and austenitic structures where corrosion resistance counts.
The wire suits hand work with a semiautomatic torch and mechanised stations, and it also serves in WAAM additive manufacturing. It is used on process plant, heat exchangers, sanitary structures and parts exposed to corrosion.

Keep the heat input down and do not hold the joint hot longer than needed, austenite expands strongly and pulls the structure out of shape. Set the gas flow so the pool is covered over the whole length of the bead, and shield the station when you work in wind. Check the contact tip, a worn bore upsets the wire feed and causes burnback. Set the current and the voltage to the thickness and the position, and check them on a test piece before production.
