3Dprint AM 625 is a nickel alloy solid wire for WAAM additive manufacturing. It also welds nickel alloys on chemical equipment, high-temperature plant and dissimilar joints between nickel alloys and steels.
The wire suits hand work with a semiautomatic torch and mechanised stations, and it also serves in WAAM additive manufacturing. It works on boiler and furnace parts, chemical plant and heat exchangers exposed to aggressive media.

Run the pool more slowly than on steel, nickel alloys are sluggish and will not flow out to the edges of the groove on their own. Check the contact tip, a worn bore upsets the wire feed and causes burnback. Match the drive rolls to the wire diameter and check the liner, wire slip shows up at once in an unstable arc. Thinner diameters suit root runs and thin sheet, thicker ones the fill passes.
