BÖHLER FOX E 347 H is a basic coated electrode of the E 19 9 Nb B / E347-15 type for welding CrNi alloyed austenitic stainless steels such as 1.4541 / 347H, at service temperatures up to 400 degrees C.
The base grades are 1.4541 (X6CrNiTi18-10), 1.4550 (X6CrNiNb18-10) and 1.4878 (X8CrNiTi18-10). The controlled ferrite content is 3 to 8 FN, and the deposit is less susceptible to embrittlement and resistant to scaling. The electrode works well in all positions except vertical down.

Niobium stabilisation protects against intergranular corrosion, but only as long as you do not overheat the joint, so control the interpass temperature and do not heat the material with weaving. Dry basic electrodes to the maker data sheet and take them from the quiver one at a time. Direct current with the electrode positive, a short arc, straight beads.
