What diamondspark 31 NG self-shielded flux-cored wire is used for

diamondspark 31 NG is a seamless, self-shielded, unalloyed flux-cored wire for site fabrication without toughness requirements, suitable for all welding positions and tolerant of rust.

You weld without a cylinder, the pool is shielded by the decomposition of the core ingredients, the seamless sheath keeps moisture away from the core, and the wire is used on steel structures, tanks, machine frames and workshop work on black steel.

  • Classification EN ISO: 17632-A T46 Z Y NO 1 H10
  • AWS classification: A5.20 / SFA-A5.20 E71T-11
  • Shielding: self-shielded, no shielding gas
  • Approvals: CE

On thicker parts and in a cold workshop plan preheating to cut the risk of cold cracking. Work with fume extraction, self-shielded wires smoke far more than gas shielded ones. Check the polarity before you start, self-shielded wires often run differently from solid wires.
