diamondspark 54 MC is a seamless metal-cored wire for mild steel, used under M21 and 100 percent CO2 shielding gases, with impact toughness down to minus 60 degrees C.
The wire joins grades such as S235JR, S355JR, S235JO, S355JO, S450JO, S235J2 and S355J2, along with related materials. Its seamless construction limits moisture pick-up in the core and keeps the hydrogen level in the weld low.

Match the voltage to the wire feed speed, too low a setting gives a convex bead and no fusion into the edges. Keep the gas cover complete, without a full slag layer the pool is more sensitive to draughts.
