diamondspark 44 BC is a seamless flux-cored wire of the basic type for mild steel, suitable for all welding positions.
It joins grades such as S235JR, S355JR, S235JO, S355JO, S235J2, S355J2 and S275N together with their equivalents. The seamless make limits moisture pickup by the core and keeps the hydrogen level in the weld low, and the wire is used on steel structures, tanks, machine frames and workshop work on black steel.

On thicker parts and in a cold workshop plan preheating to cut the risk of cold cracking. Keep the wire in a dry store and use an opened pack promptly, a basic core is sensitive to moisture. Hold a short arc, a long one breaks the shielding and raises the hydrogen content in the weld.
