What diamondspark 52 BC flux-cored wire is used for

diamondspark 52 BC is a seamless flux-cored wire of the basic type for mild steel, meant for the flat and horizontal positions.

Among the parent materials it covers S235JR, S355JR, S235JO, S355JO, S450JO, S235J2 and S355J2. The seamless sheath keeps moisture away from the core even after longer storage, and the wire is used on steel structures, tanks, machine frames and workshop work on black steel.

  • Classification EN ISO: 17632-A T 46 4 B M21 3 H5 T 42 4 B C1 3 H5
  • AWS classification: A5.20 / SFA-5.20 E70T-5M JH4 E70T-5C JH4
  • Shielding gas: M21, C1
  • Diameters: 1.2 / 1.4 / 1.6 / 2.4 mm
  • Approvals: TÜV (06218), DB (42.052.04), DNV, ABS, LR, BV, RINA, CE

Clean rust, paint and grease out of the groove, contaminated plate gives porosity even with well set parameters. Take care of degassing and a clean groove, basic slag will not forgive oily edges.
