diamondspark 700 RC (C1) is a seamless high-strength flux-cored wire of the rutile type, alloyed with nickel and molybdenum, with a yield strength above 690 MPa and run under 100 % CO2.
It is used on grades such as S620Q, S620QL, S690Q, S690QL, S620QL1, S690QL1 and ASTM A 514. The seamless sheath keeps moisture away from the core even after longer storage, and the rutile core gives a fast freezing pool, a well shaped face and slag that lifts easily.

Do not exceed the permitted interpass temperature, an overheated heat affected zone loses its toughness. Store the wire dry and do not leave an open spool in the feeder overnight, the core takes up moisture. Do not shorten the stick-out too far, a flux-cored wire needs resistive preheating so the core melts in time.
