What diamondspark Ni1 RC (C1) flux-cored wire is used for

diamondspark Ni1 RC (C1) is a seamless high-strength flux-cored wire of the rutile type, alloyed with about 1 % nickel, rated down to -40 °C and run under 100 % CO2.

It joins grades such as S355JR, S355J0, S355J2, S450J0, S355N, S460N and S355NL together with their equivalents. The seamless make limits moisture pickup by the core and keeps the hydrogen level in the weld low, and you can weld in all positions, including vertical up and overhead.

  • Classification EN ISO: 17632-A T 46 4 1Ni P C1 1 H5
  • AWS classification: A5.29 / SFA-5.29 E81T1-Ni1C-JH4
  • Shielding gas: C1
  • Diameters: 1.2 / 1.4 / 1.6 mm
  • Approvals: TÜV (12887), ABS, DNV, LR, CE

Match the voltage to the wire feed speed, too low a setting gives a convex face and no fusion into the edges.
