FOXcore 13/4-T1 is a high-alloyed flux-cored wire of the E 410NiMo type for soft martensitic stainless steel, suitable for all welding positions and run under a mixed shielding gas.
Parent materials are 1.4313, 1.4317, 1.4407, 1.4414 and UNS S41500. All positions are open to it, including vertical up and overhead, the deposition rate shortens the filling of wider grooves, and the deposit has a martensitic structure with a reduced carbon content.
- Classification EN ISO: 17633-A T 13 4 P M21 (C1) 1 H5
- AWS classification: A5.22 / SFA-5.22 E410NiMoT1-4(1)
- Shielding gas: M21, C1
- Approvals: TÜV (18993), CE
Use brushes and discs kept only for stainless steel, carbon steel particles cause rust staining on the face. Do not shorten the stick-out too far, a flux-cored wire needs resistive preheating so the core melts in time. Hold the torch tilted slightly backwards so the slag flows behind the pool, not ahead of it.
