FOXcore 625-T1 is a high-alloyed, nickel base flux-cored wire of the ENiCrMo3 type for nickel alloys with a high molybdenum content, superaustenitic stainless steels and clad pipe, set up for positional pipe welding.
It joins grades such as 1.4529, 1.4547, 1.4580, 1.4583, 1.4876, 1.5662 and X8Ni9 together with their equivalents, and the deposit is nickel based. Typical work covers tanks and piping in nickel alloys, and cladding on steel surfaces.

Keep the interpass temperature low and limit weaving, nickel is sensitive to hot cracking. Do not shorten the stick-out too far, a flux-cored wire needs resistive preheating so the core melts in time. Hold the torch tilted slightly backwards so the slag flows behind the pool. Match the diameter to the thickness and the position, thinner wires are easier to control in constrained positions.
