FOXcore 625-T1 PF is a high-alloyed, nickel base flux-cored wire of the ENiCrMo3 type for nickel alloys with a high molybdenum content, superaustenitic stainless steels and 9 % Ni steels for cryogenic service, set up for vertical up welding in the PF, 3F and 3G positions.
The slag covers the bead and cools slowly, so the face stays even and the transitions to the parent metal are smooth. The deposit is nickel based and keeps its toughness in the cryogenic range, so the wire goes on tanks and piping in nickel alloys, on boiler and furnace parts, chemical plant and heat exchangers.

Keep the interpass temperature low and limit weaving, nickel is sensitive to hot cracking. Do not shorten the stick-out too far, a flux-cored wire needs resistive preheating so the core melts in time. Hold the torch tilted slightly backwards so the slag flows behind the pool, not ahead of it.
