FOXcore 71 RC is a rutile flux-cored wire for mild and low-alloy steels, fine-grained grades included. It is used on steel structures, tanks, machine frames and workshop work on black steel.
Among the parent materials it covers S235JR, S355JR, S235JO, S355JO, S450JO, S235J2 and S355J2. All welding positions are open to it, which helps on site, and the deposition rate shows on long welds and thicker walls.

Clean rust, paint and grease out of the groove, contaminated plate gives porosity even with well set parameters. Hold the torch tilted slightly backwards so the slag flows behind the pool. Remove the slag before every following bead, slag left between layers is the most common source of inclusions.
